These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use searchly.app. Please read them. They cover what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and how paid plans work.
Searchly.app (the "Service") is a reverse image search service ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You can't use the Service if the law where you live forbids it, or if you're on a government sanctions list. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it.
You upload a photo or paste an image link. We search publicly available web pages for the same or visually similar images and show you where they appear.
Some things are worth saying plainly:
You can search without an account, with lower limits. If you create one, give us a real email address and keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Accounts are for one person. Don't share, sell or transfer yours. If you think someone else has access to it, change your password and tell us.
You can cancel at any time. You keep your plan until the end of the month you've paid for, and we won't charge you again. New subscribers can get a full refund within 7 days of their first payment. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy has the full details.
Free and Basic limits reset every day and on the 1st of every month. Unused searches don't roll over. Pro is unlimited for normal personal or professional use. It isn't a licence to run automated or bulk searches. If an account's use looks automated or harms the Service for others, we may slow it down or contact you.
Reverse image search is a powerful tool. Use it to verify, protect and understand, never to harm. Our Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms. In short, you must not use the Service to:
You keep all rights to the images you upload. You confirm you have the right to use each image you search. You give us a limited permission to process the image only to run your search. That permission ends when we delete the image, which happens as soon as your search finishes.
Results link to websites we don't own or control. We don't host those images, and we aren't responsible for what other sites publish or how they treat you. If you open a link, that site's own terms apply.
Want an image removed from the web? Contact the site that hosts it. That's the only place it can be taken down. If a result points to content that's clearly illegal or abusive, tell us. We'll review it and work to exclude it from future results.
We own the Service, including its design, code, name and logo. You may use the Service as these terms allow, but you may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell it.
We keep improving searchly.app, so features will change over time. If we make a change that takes something important away from a paid plan, we'll tell you in advance. If you're unhappy with the change, you can cancel and ask for a refund of any unused, prepaid time.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from My Account.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, puts others at risk, or uses the Service fraudulently. Where it's safe and lawful, we'll explain why and give you a chance to respond. If we close a paid account for a serious breach, we won't refund the current period. If we close a paid account for any other reason, we'll refund the unused part.
We work hard to keep the Service accurate and available. Still, we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that results will be complete or correct. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data, or decisions you make based on search results. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 USD. These limits don't apply to liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud, or death or injury caused by negligence.
If you break these terms or the law while using the Service, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim.
The laws of Singapore govern these terms. If you have a problem, please contact us first. Most issues get solved quickly that way. If we can't resolve it, the courts of Singapore will handle the dispute. If you're a consumer, you also keep the right to bring a claim in the courts where you live, and the protection of your local consumer laws.
We may update these terms as the Service grows. We'll change the date at the top when we do. If a change affects your rights in a meaningful way, we'll email account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply.
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up. You can't transfer your rights under these terms without our agreement. These terms, with the policies they link to, are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
